Whenever we get tired of our hair we love to put it in a ponytail or messy knot to get it all out of our face. We will talk about the messy knot another time, first the perfect basic ponytail! Make sure your hair doesn’t look greasy as we want a fresh looking ponytail with some good volume.

A very good elastic hairband
- Brush your hair very well as smooth hair is easier to work with.
- Once you’ve done that brush all your hair to the back.
- Section the front part in 2 sections.
- Take the first section, tease your hair a little bit and add your texturizing/powder or dry shampoo to the roots. Flick that part forward and take your second section, do exactly the same with that section.
- Now flick your hair backwards again and go through it with your fingers.
- Bring all your hair together, pull a little bit to the top of your hair by using your hand so you get great volume. You can create more volume by pulling a bit more hair out or less by pulling it less.
- Add your elastic band and you are good to go!
The products we are using and the hair teasing gives us great volume for your ponytail and so, you are able to get some extra volume back during the day by just pulling the top of your hair again.
