Pimples aren’t a girls best friend! We never ask for them but they still turn up without asking our permission, how rude is that!? We want to fight them in a natural way. There are so many spot treatments on the market. Some work, some doesn’t but remember every skin is different so, what works for us doesn’t have to work for someone else.

The spot treatments you can get in normal drug stores can be very aggressive, which will most likely dry out your skin. That’s definitely not what we want! Be good to your skin, treat it with love. A natural treatment will help to treat your pimples in a softer way which will be better for your skin.

Tea tree essential oil

Add a small amount of the tea tree oil at your spot by using a cotton bud, pad or your fingertip. Leave overnight and rinse of the next morning with lukewarm water. The redness and swelling will reduce and your pores will be cleaned out.

Aspirin

We want to make sure we are using an aspirin, no paracetamol or anything else. Crush 1 tablet, add 1/2 drops of water, mix it till it turns into a paste. Wash your face with your normal cleanser, add the paste onto your pimple and sleep with it. Rinse of the next morning and you’ll see the redness and inflammation has subsided.

Honey

Use a bit of honey as a spot treatment mask. Add the honey onto your blemishes area, you can leave it for at least 1 hour. Rinse of with lukewarm water and your skin will be feeling soft and smooth.

Aloe vera

You can be using pure aloe vera or aloe very gel from a drug store. Pay attention to the ingredients, the gel you buy must be as pure as possible. This is great for an overnight treatment as well. Get the gel out of the plant or tube and add it onto your pimples. It’s also worth putting it onto your black spots as it helps to even your skin tone. Rinse of the next morning with lukewarm water.

Hydrocortisone cream

This really helps to recover damaged skin. Add a bit of the cream onto the damaged areas and leave it for the night. You could be wearing it throughout the whole day but you need to make sure you blend it in very well, otherwise you’ll be walking around with white dots on your face. Make sure your skin is fresh and clean before adding the cream.
