Post workout snack: Energy balls

Our body always needs something extra to recover from a hard workout. This snack helps to get your energy levels back and lets your body recover quicker. Beside that, it is a very tasty snack, any time of the day. 

 

Ingredients: (for 12 Energy balls)

50 GRAM Pecan nuts  

10 GRAM Pumpkin seeds

8 Dates

2 TBP GRAM Cacao powder

1 TSP Vanilla 

Pinch of sea salt 

 

  • Place everything into a blender or food processor until you get a smooth paste
  • Roll the paste into small balls 
  • Place the balls onto a plate 
  • Place the plate into your freezer for 30 min or into your fridge for 2 hours 
  • Now they are ready to be eaten 

 

 

Nuts and seeds are helping you to get your energy level back and to recover your body after a hard workout. 

It is a great way of healthy snacking and very useful if you are taking it after a workout.
