Sun dried tomato hummus

For all the hummus lovers out there, this is worth trying! You can make it in all kind of flavors but this is Definitely one of our fav. We are using the hummus to spread on (spelt) toast, dip any kind of veggies in it and sometimes we use it as a salad topping.

 

But what is hummus and how do we make it? Well that’s quite simple. The main ingredients of hummus are the very healthy chickpeas. They got a lot of proteins, fibers, minerals, etc. The only thing you’ve to do is, put all the ingredients in a blender, blend until a smooth paste and that’s it! You can keep the hummus for 1 week in the fridge. 

Ingredients:

110 g chickpeas
1 clove garlic
15 g sundried tomatoes
25 ml olive oil
25 ml water
1 tsp tahini
a pinch of black pepper & salt for the taste
